When we think back on the last dozen years, we have a lot to be proud of!

Boss Boss Radio has come so far from those humble moments testing the internet waters, so to speak. Navigating the net, shoot, even the web browsers have changed since the days of Netscape and Internet Explorer (both all but gone now).

Technologically, the Boss has been a State-of-the-art marvel of streaming radio. Taking full advantage of new technologies such as cloud based hosting, foreign disc jockeys signing on from their studios around the globe, shoot, the two of us have only met face to face a handful of times in the past dozen years.

Thanks to online meeting apps, messenger, email and text, we have managed to stay in communication with each other on a daily basis for most of the past 12 years.  The distance from Los Angeles (where John resides) and Amarillo (where Jamey is) is shortened thanks to modern technology.

We have each other’s numbers set to “ring” no matter the time day or night.

In awe, is the best way to describe how we both feel about The Boss.  We’ve worked with and been in the same company with many of our radio heroes on this journey, many of them make up the roster of Boss Jocks here. From the Radio Hall of Famers to the veterans that came before us and laid the ground work for great radio, and having had the pleasure to work alongside some of the truly greatest people in the radio business. Pinch us!

When we came up with the slogan “Great Tunes, Great Times, Great Radio,” we wanted listeners to know that we put as much weight on the fantastic songs we play as we do the fun we all have on the air with you and presenting the world’s greatest music. Now that’s Great Radio!

Thank you so much for being the other part of this equation, for without great, involved, caring listeners, we’re just talking to ourselves…and the wall.
