Boss Boss Radio Wants to Come to Your Town!
November 3, 2019The Boss is Expanding!
November 4, 2019This Thanksgiving, Boss Boss Radio is taking you to the city of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, to celebrate one of the often overlooked birthplaces of modern music, the Philadelphia Sound!
All throughout the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, Philadelphia was a hotbed of R&B magic that made stars out of many of the most famous R&B acts of all time. And Boss Boss Radio will be highlighting the Philly Sound all during the long Thanksgiving weekend.
Listen all weekend long to hear great R&B artists such as Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, Eddie Holman, Dee Dee Sharp, The Delfonics, The Stylistics, Hall & Oates, Todd Rudgren and dozens more.
Plus, our annual tradition of the airing of Arlo Guthrie’s “Alice’s Restaurant” happens Thanksgiving Day at Noon Eastern and Pacific in its entirety. Then hang out all weekend as we highlight The Sound of Philadelphia!
