Boss Jock Matt Collier, was one of “The Original 7” when the Boss was born in 2012. It was then, that The Boss’ John Van Camp asked Matt if he wanted to do nights seven long years ago.
Matt started his career as a high school intern at the legendary 1240 KMBY in Monterey, CA, working as a Jack-of-all-trades, and head coffee maker. From Matt’s humble beginning in 1978, he has traveled to Salt Lake City, Bakersfield, Ventura, Los Angeles, Winnipeg, and Florida doing what he says “Is the best part of his day,” playing the Boss hits for you.
Matt says his shows are therapy for him…”When I shut the door to the studio, everything goes away…It’s just me, my listeners, and the music…A perfect combination!”
Matt is single and resides in Southern California. He has two children and two granddaughters.
