Meet Our Boss Jock of the Month!
Kevin James currently works more hours on the air than any other Boss Jock…so we thought with our first edition we would introduce you to our iron man “the midnight rider” Kevin James.
Kevin grew up in Fresno, California in the late 1960’s listening to Mike Novac and Sean Conrad on the Big 13 KYNO Boss Radio for Fresno, but it was KFRE jock Von Drumminds that let 10-year-old Kevin sit in and watch his radio show. From that moment on, Kevin was hooked.
Kevin’s career started in 1977 playing jazz and blues on KVFM-FM in Fresno. From there his career took off, working at legendary radio stations such as KBOS-FM Tulare/Fresno, KERN-AM/Bakersfield, KKDJ-FM/Fresno. Kevin was the first jock on Fresno’s first oldies outlet KFSO-FM also.
Kevin resides in central California with his lovely wife Karen. He has two daughters and five grandchildren, with one on the way!
