Christmas in July – Boss Style!
July 1, 2019July 4 – All American Top 100
July 1, 2019Meet Bob Ray, Boss Jock at Boss Boss Radio since 2015. Bob got his start in radio in Boss Angeles at legendary stations K-SURF and KMPC. He then became the morning jock at KLIV in San Jose where he spent ten years waking up the South Bay and even becoming the hero of a young Boss Jock named Matt Collier, who grew up listening to Bob!
In addition to his radio career, Bob is a renowned photographer, author and ad man. Bob was recruited for The Boss by the Late Peter B., who knew Bob from his days at KLIV as well. Bob is known as “The Globe-trotting Boss Jock,” since he does his show from all sorts of locales around the world. From South America to Vietnam, and many other exotic and fabulous locations, Bob plays the Greatest Boss Hits, whether from a cruise ship, a Starbucks in a foreign land or his second home in Lake Tahoe!
BTW, Bob is nominated for the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame from his 25+ years on-the-air in Northern California: including KLIV in San Jose, and also at KSFO in San Francisco. Bob was also announcer for the San Jose Earthquakes’ soccer team and his voice was heard for decades on commercials, industrials and movies in Northern California. He was also the station voice of KICU/TV36 In San Jose for several years. You can vote for Bob at the link below, once per day until July 15th:

Bob currently appears on 5-6 international cruises a year for Crystal, Silver Sea, Cunard The Queen Mary 2 and Princess cruise lines, among others.
