This week, Boss Boss Radio will make radio history, again! We're celebrating our anniversary with a trip the the Biggest Little City In The World, Reno Nevada.
We're going to Hot August Nights, the world's largest car show and will be broadcasting LIVE from the car show all day Friday August 6th.
And that's not all. We'll be broadcasting from the storied 610 Sturgeon Mobile Studio! For the first time in nearly 30 years, we'll be broadcasting from one of Northern California's legendary studios.
The history of the Sturgeon dates back to the early 1980s, with San Francisco radio giant 610 KFRC retrofitted a 1977 GMC Motor Coach into a studio n wheels. And soon, the "Sturgeon" (as it was nicknamed by KFRC jocks Bill Lee and Terry Nelson) was on its way across the Golden Gate Bridge, out to Golden Gate Fields, all points throughout the Bay Area and even into Sacramento and Cal Expo.
And that's not all. We'll be broadcasting from the storied 610 Sturgeon Mobile Studio! For the first time in nearly 30 years, we'll be broadcasting from one of Northern California's legendary studios.

The Sturgeon was constantly being used for many years. KFRC morning man Dr. Don Rose rode shotgun on the Sturgeon and even had his own studio desk, which is preserved to this day.
This incredible machine was nearly lost during much of the 2000s, after KFRC and the Sturgeon had been sold to a religious foundation. But be it luck, or karma, or divine intervention, the Sturgeon was saved and restored to her original pristine glory.
Today, the 610 Sturgeon has been parked just waiting for an event to open up after the Pandemic, and Hot August Nights is the perfect venue.
The Surgeon will be on display beginning on Tuesday the 3rd and continuing through the weekend.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Boss Boss Radio, and official on-air partner of the 610 Sturgeon, will be the first to broadcast LIVE from the mobile studio in nearly 30 years, this Friday Aug 6th. Join us, as we "turn the mic on" again and usher in a new era of radio greatness from the 610 Sturgeon.
And listen all day Friday as your favorite Boss Jocks from Boss Boss Radio and our sister station That 70s Channel, rechristen the 610 Sturgeon!
